Limelight Lab Grown Diamonds announces vertical integration

Limelight Lab Grown Diamonds, India’s no.1 lab-grown diamond jewellery brand, has announced a major expansion into in-house diamond growing and manufacturing capabilities, alongside a INR 250 crore fundraise to accelerate its next phase of growth.

The move establishes Limelight as India’s first fully integrated lab-grown diamond (LGD) brand and reinforces its leadership in responsible luxury, with a target of 200 stores by 2027.

The vertical integration marks a significant milestone in Limelight’s journey, enabling end-to-end control across the value chain. By bringing diamond growing and manufacturing in-house, the brand aims to reduce dependency on third-party suppliers, strengthen cost efficiencies, ensure consistent quality, and accelerate product innovation, exclusive collaborations, and faster market launches.

The fresh capital will be deployed towards scaling Limelight’s retail footprint, enhancing design capabilities, and cementing its leadership position as the lab-grown diamond category witnesses rapid growth and increasing consumer adoption.
