Advent to pick up controlling stake in Orra

Orra Fine Jewellery, owned by Rosy Blue Group has been looking for partners to infuse capital, aimed at growing business. According to media reports, US Advent International is closing in on picking up a controlling stake in the company.

Advent has reportedly engaged in discussions with Orra for some time now and is likely to pick up a 51 to 75 per cent stake, at a possible valuation of Orra at Rs 1,500 to Rs 1,750 crore.

Negotiations have moved to the documentation stage. Management and voting rights are also being shifted to Advent as part of the process. It is reported that Orra slid into losses of Rs 11 crore in the financial year 2024 after posting profits for three years beginning FY21.
