Brand Dior opens boutique at Mumbai Airport Domestic Terminal

Luxury fashion and beauty brand Dior has strengthened its presence in IndiLa’s travel retail market with the opening of a new boutique at Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport (CSMIA) Terminal 2 Domestic Departures in Mumbai. The store was launched in partnership with April Moon Retail Ltd. (AMRL), a company actively expanding the premium retail ecosystem across Indian airports.

April Moon Retail Ltd. stated, “At April Moon Retail Ltd., we are proud to mark a significant milestone in India’s premium travel retail landscape with the grand opening of DIOR at Mumbai International Airport Limited (CSMIA) T2, Domestic Departures. Bringing together DIOR’s rich French heritage, creativity, refined craftsmanship, and timeless elegance, the boutique offers travellers an elevated expression of ultra-luxury. This further reflects AMRL’s vision of curating world-class brands and creating exceptional retail experiences within the airport environment.”

The Dior launch also highlights the increasing importance of airport retail in India’s luxury market. As air travel continues to grow and airport infrastructure expands, brands are increasingly viewing airports as strategic locations to engage affluent consumers and high-intent shoppers. Industry experts note that travel retail has emerged as a key growth channel for luxury brands seeking visibility among domestic and international travellers.
