

Cambodia exported an estimated $100 million worth of gemstones to India and imported approximately $150 million in jewellery from the South Asian nation over the past three years, reflecting growing bilateral trade and stronger cooperation between the private sectors of both countries.
The figures were shared during a signing ceremony between the CGJTA and the Indian Chamber of Commerce in Cambodia, held on Thursday in Phnom Penh. The agreement aims to boost trade and investment flows in the gem and jewellery sectors between the two nations.
The volume of gemstone and jewellery trade between Cambodia and India from 2023 to 2025, Cambodia exported between $50 million and $100 million worth of gemstones to India, while India exported approximately $100 million to $150 million in jewellery to Cambodia.
The trade volume in Cambodia has seen a significant increase, reflecting enhanced economic cooperation and the potential for future collaboration.
