Jewellery designer Fei Liu shut his global silver jewellery business at the end of 2025, marking a strategic shift toward high jewellery, bespoke commissions, and collector-led art pieces. The decision draws to a close the wholesale arm of the brand, which at its height saw Fei Liu’s silver collections stocked in more than 80 stores worldwide.
In the UK, stockists of Fei Liu silver jewellery included Windsor Jewellers, Allum & Sidaway, David Gilbert, Autumn & May, and Strange the Jewellers. Retailers are continuing to sell through existing stock. The move reflects Fei Liu’s sharpened focus on craftsmanship, one-of-a-kind creations, and a luxury positioning aligned with his reputation as an artist-jeweller. In recent years, the designer has increasingly stepped away from volume-driven silver production to concentrate on one-off designs that he has been selling via international auction houses.
“Silver jewellery has been an integral part of my journey,” says Fei Liu. “It has been a medium through which I explored sculptural forms and storytelling, but as the brand evolves, I feel called to return to my roots in fine jewellery where every gemstone and detail carries deeper emotional weight.
