North Bay moved Bishop gold ore to California on 5 Nov, 2025

North Bay Resources delivered a gold ore shipment weighing 22,597 pounds to California, which will be processed to produce a concentrate for delivery to North Bay’s refinery partner in Reno, Nevada. This news comes after the company announced a weighted-average gold grade of 3.38 ounces per tonne from a maiden ore shipment at the Fran Gold Project in British Columbia. The results include an assay of 6.62 ounces per tonne of gold.

North Bay recently received assays of 0.4 to more than 2.9 ounces per tonne of gold from Fran. Four samples of 5 pounds were taken from alternating super sacks, as part of a 20-tonne test shipment, and assayed by ALS Global in North Vancouver using fire assay method.  The ore contained gold, copper, and silver mineralisation primarily in the form of chalcopyrite, marcasite, and galena.

The Fran Gold Project is located next to Centerra Gold’s  Mt Milligan Mine. The project’s east zone represents a zone of gold and increasing copper resource expansion potential. The deposit also remains open to the south and at depth.  North Bay Resources is a gold-focused company with assets in the US and Canada.
