The SJMA also launched ‘SJMA 365 Global Connect’ on Saturday, under which retail jewellers from across the country and abroad will be facilitated to visit Surat throughout the year. Over 170 exhibitors, mainly from Surat, are showcasing lab-grown gold and silver diamonds, natural diamonds and plain jewellery to buyers during the three-day event.
The Rootz 2025 event Chairman, Jayanti Savaliya, said, “With the rise in gold prices, this time we have also included jewellery with fewer carats. Some exhibitors are showcasing gold jewellery ranging from 9 carats to 14 carats. Besides this, ornaments suitable for daily wear, weddings, and other events have also been displayed. Buyers from India and abroad can view the jewellery and then place bookings with the exhibitors.”
We have also launched SJMA 365 Global Connect, under which buyers from India and abroad will be invited to Surat throughout the year for business dealings and factory visits. The SJMA will bear the cost of accommodation and travel for the buyers. The buyers had to fill the registration form on our website. Our teams will verify the buyer’s details mentioned in the registration form and later invite them,” Savaliya said.
