For several decades, Russia has been the largest producer of diamonds globally. Russia represents about 32% of the world’s diamond supply aggregate. Every year, around 37.32 million carats (about 7,464 kilograms) of diamonds are produced from Russia’s mines.

Botswana is known for producing high-quality diamonds. In terms of production, Botswana ranks second in the world, with about 5,018 kilograms of diamonds mined every year.

Canada, which started producing diamonds in 1998, is now the third-largest producer of diamonds. Canada also has several large diamond mines and produces approximately 3,290 kilograms annually.

Angola, another nation in Africa, is also known for its diamonds and produces approximately 9.75 million carats (equivalent to 1,950 kilograms) of diamonds each year. The Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) consists of several major diamond mines, which produce roughly 8.35 million carats (or about 1,170 kilograms) of diamonds annually. In terms of diamond reserves, the DRC is the fifth-largest diamond-producing country.
