Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources has qualified 24 local and international companies and consortiums to participate in the tenth round of its mineral exploration licensing competition.
The opportunities cover approximately 13,000 square kilometres of highly prospective mineralised belts across Medina, Mecca, Riyadh, Qassim, and Hail. These areas are known for their potential deposits of key minerals, including gold, copper, silver, zinc, and nickel.
The next phase of Round 10 will allow qualified bidders to select available exploration sites via the Taadeen platform, in line with procedures that support fair competition and help companies pursue opportunities aligned with their technical capabilities and investment strategies.
