

The 72nd Bangkok Gems and Jewellery Fair successfully concluded with over 1,106 companies from Thailand and abroad, featuring 2,628 exhibitors in this edition. Held at the Queen Sirikit National Convention Centre from September 9 to 13, 2025, the fair was organised by the Department of International Trade Promotion (DITP) in collaboration with the Gems and Jewellery Institute of Thailand.
The event showcased a wide range of products, including earth-mined gemstones such as diamonds, synthetic stones such as lab-grown diamonds, fine jewelry such as silver and gold pieces, costume or fashion jewelry, jewelry parts, jewelry equipment and machinery, and jewelry display cases and presentation materials, besides The fair highlighted not only the precious gems and jewelry but also the tools, technology, and packaging that were essential in creating exquisite designs.
Vuttikrai Leewiraphan, permanent secretary of the Thailand Ministry of Commerce, said the gems and jewellery industry remained one of his country’s key economic drivers, employing more than 800,000 people. “I am proud today that [the Bangkok Gems and Jewellery Fair] is recognised by global buyers as one of the world’s top four jewellery trade shows and as a must-attend destination for buyers and industry professionals worldwide,” he stated.
