US company National Chain Group purchases Armbrust International

The National Chain Group, a prime jewelry supplier in Warwick, Rhode Island, recently purchased Armbrust International, one of the first U.S. fine jewelry chain manufacturers with roots extending back more than a century. The purchase adds hundreds of additional chain styles and options to those offered by National, which since its founding in 1968 has become the industry’s leading provider of pendant and fashion chain.

In addition to Armbrust, the purchase encompasses several additional brands: Boan Chain, Hitchcock Chain, Kunzmann Chain, Providence Chain, and Wiesner Chain. All will continue to be manufactured at the Armbrust facilities in Providence, Rhode Island.

The acquisition is the latest for the National Chain Group, which over the past decade has grown into a full-service supplier for jewelry manufacturers, wholesalers, distributors, and large-volume retailers. Their offerings include responsibly sourced mill products, chain, components, and custom and contract services, including final customer fulfilment.
