WFDB 41st Congress to be held in Singapore July 12 – 15, 2026

The World Federation of Diamond Bourses (WFDB) has announced that its 41st Congress will be held on July 12 – 15, 2026 in Singapore, hosted by the Diamond Exchange of Singapore.

The WFDB Congress, held once every three years, is a major international event, convening senior representatives of the 24 member bourses and key figures from the world diamond industry. This Congress will explore the world diamond industry’s main challenges and opportunities in keynote addresses and expert panels.

This Congress follows a very successful WFDB Presidents’ Meeting in New York in June 2025 which was very well attended and in which Botswana President Duma Boko, Angolan Minister of Mineral Resources, Petroleum, and Gas Diamantino Azevedo, Botswana Minister of Minerals and Energy Bogolo Kenewendo and De Beers CEO Al Cook headlined a rich constellation of speakers.

WFDB President Yoram Dvash is calling on all players in the international diamond industry to attend the Congress. “The WFDB is happy to return to vibrant Singapore, where we held the 24th Congress in1988, 38 years ago. We are holding the Congress in Singapore this time to emphasize the importance of Asia in the world diamond industry, both as manufacturers and consumer markets.  We are beginning to see a rebound in the Chinese market, which is so important to the world industry. At this Congress we will explore not only China but all the major markets in Asia. The Congress will undoubtedly be one of the key events in the world diamond calendar of 2026 and we urge you to attend. In the meantime, save the dates July 12 – 15, 2026 in Singapore.”
