SRK Group unveils solar power projects during 61st Anniversary celebrations

Shree Ramkrishna Exports (SRK), a prominent name in the natural diamond industry, celebrated its 61st anniversary with Parivarotsav 2025—a gathering that honoured the company’s journey, values, and commitment to sustainable growth. The event brought together dignitaries, policymakers, and industry leaders in a celebration that underscored SRK’s deep-rooted principles and forward-looking vision.

The occasion also marked the launch of two new solar energy projects: a 6 MW plant in Akala village and a 0.814 MW facility in Amod. These clean energy installations will power SRK’s advanced manufacturing hubs, SRK Empire and SRK House. These solar projects are a step forward in SRK’s journey toward carbon neutrality and reflect the company’s broader vision of responsible and energy-efficient operations.

Union Minister for Labour & Employment, Mansukh Mandaviya, praised the initiative, highlighting SRK’s contribution to sustainable development. “Service lies at the heart of our culture, and SRK’s celebration is a testament to how shared values and a sense of family can uplift both business and society,” he said. Referring to India’s global vaccine efforts during the pandemic, he added, “India believes in Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam—the world is one family.”
