Maiden Rhosgobel resource, updated Eiger push project even higher

Sitka Gold Corp. Feb. 25 announced an updated mineral resource estimate for its RC Gold project in Yukon that adds a maiden resource at the newly discovered Rhosgobel gold deposit and an updated estimate at Eiger, pushing the project’s combined resource base above five million ounces.

Located roughly 100 kilometers (62 miles) east of Dawson City within Yukon’s Tombstone Gold Belt, the road-accessible, 431-square-kilometer (166 square miles) RC Gold project hosts a growing cluster of gold deposits distributed across the Clear Creek Intrusive Complex.

Since Sitka drilled its initial discovery hole at Blackjack in 2021, the project has grown from a grassroots target into a multi-deposit gold camp – advancing from roughly 13,000 meters across 38 holes at the time of its 2023 maiden resource estimate to 165 diamond drill holes for 59,770 meters across the Clear Creek Intrusive Complex.
